biggest pregnancy purchase was a camcorder. After making the investment,
and taking the time to haul it around and shoot footage, I definitely didn't
want
my home videos to suffer the same fate as that of my photographs
(unorganized
piles stuffed in a closet). After some lengthy research into editing
software, I decided
that it was unrealistic that I would take the time to learn it and edit the
amount of
footage I was shooting myself.
I was so pleased when I saw an ad for My Director's Cut, they were exactly
what I
was looking for. I ended up having 7 hours of home video transferred to DVD
as well
as having the 3-minute JazClips (one hour edited to 3 min. w/background
music) made.
I am more than happy with the results! Originally I was going to strictly
do the video
to DVD transfer but when I saw a sample of a JazClip I decided it was
defnitely worth the
extra cost. Once I compared the cost to the price of developing film, I
discovered
that it is actually quite reasonable.
I also realized that I wanted to show family and friends my home video
footage, however, no one really wants to sit through hours of unedited
video, so the JazClips were a perfect solution - now I am able to share the
highlights of my home videos without boring anyone to death! Also, being
able to email the JazClips is wonderful, as it is hard to really find the
appropriate time and place to share home videos and this way people can view
them at their leisure from their own computers.
I highly recommend the services at My Director's Cut, the staff is absolutely
top notch professional, they really try to work with you to figure out
the best services for your needs. After my family viewed the JazClips they
all commented that we will take a lot more videos going forward, because now
we know we will actually look at them!"
